This was Anne on Friday afternoon. Her flowers budded but they weren't opening up.

However, the the 80+ degree weather on Saturday I think they got the push they needed.

Deb moved her azaleas from the front to the back yard. They look great.

Anne the Magnolia has been doing well in 2013. Deb recently did a little decorating to brighten her up.

Anne Gets Ready for Winter

I ran into Deb yesterday and noticed that she was getting Anne ready for winter. She's got some chicken wire around her that is filled with leaves.  I think she'll be nice and cozy.

Here, just shortly after I took the picture in the previous post, is Anne with here leaves down. Things can really change fast. Some trees lose their leaves gradually and some all at once.

Deb's magnolia tree, Anne, is doing quite well. I was curious what color she'd turn in the fall - looks like a nice greenish yellow.

Deb planted a new magnolia tree in her front yard. She decided to name the tree Anne.
