Last Night's Snow

The snow began late yesterday afternoon and it snowed overnight. We were supposed to get 6-8 inches by morning but I'd say we only got 2 or 3.

Whole Lotta Heavy Snow

Snowed quite a bit yesterday. I believe it snowed overnight too. Our pine tree was really looking weighted down. Thankfully no branches fell.

The Shiny Orb

I have a vague recollection of the beautiful shiny orb I saw in the sky today! We've had so many days without sun. It was good to see it again. I heard on the news today that this has been the snowiest April in 11 years. Not much was left after today's sun although more is supposedly on the way.

Uncommon Gardens

Yesterday Noel and I stopped by Uncommon Gardens. Since there's not much to put in the garden at this point I bought something else for the garden that I thought would look nice. I love birds. They remind me of my Baba.

Less Than Nine Months 'Til Christmas

This would look great in December. The problem is, I took this picture today. It's April. The long-term forecast isn't giving me much hope.

This looks promising. Green growing things are trying to push their way up through some of last fall's leaves and pine needles.  I think this might be the primrose plant.
